      OUR ORGANISATION

      Riverine Plains was established in 1999 as an independent farming systems group dedicated to improving the productivity of mixed farming systems in northeast Victoria and southern New South Wales.

      Our organisation has a productive, passionate and well-balanced team. One of the secrets to our success is our culture. We’re focused on achieving outcomes and delivering high-quality results to all members and project partners. We have a strong mentoring ethic and a focus on building capacity in our team to progress in their careers.

      Our focus as an organisation is on providing independent, timely and relevant information to our members through a rigorous research program and annual schedule of events and publications. We do this by having a balanced portfolio of projects and a highly engaged and valuable partnership base.

      Project Manager – Livestock Programs

      Riverine Plains is seeking a skilled and passionate Project Manager to lead livestock-focused projects that drive innovation, productivity, and sustainability in agriculture. Based in Mulwala or working hybrid within the region, this flexible full-time role involves collaborating with farmers, researchers, and industry bodies to deliver impactful, evidence-based programs. Ideal candidates will have a background in agriculture or animal science, project management experience in the sector, and the ability to turn complex livestock data into practical on-farm outcomes.

      Senior Manager, Finance & Governance

      Riverine Plains is seeking a highly capable and values-driven Senior Manager, Finance & Governance to lead and enhance the organisation’s financial, governance, and project management functions. Based in Mulwala or working hybrid within the region, this full-time leadership role reports directly to the CEO and plays a pivotal part in supporting sustainable growth and strong organisational performance.

      With responsibilities spanning audit and risk committee management, financial oversight, Board reporting, and project systems, this role offers the chance to make a real impact within a passionate, agriculture-focused not-for-profit.
