Riverine Plains is an independent, farmer-led not-for-profit organisation working to advance productive, resilient and environmentally sustainable farming systems through research, education, innovation and extension.
Our work is supported through memberships, partnerships, sponsorships, grants and philanthropic contributions from individuals, businesses and community organisations who want to invest in the future of Australian agriculture.
Community and corporate donations play an important role in enabling Riverine Plains to deliver independent agricultural research, farmer capacity-building activities, scholarships, innovation programs and practical on-farm extension that generate long-term benefits for farmers, regional communities and the wider agricultural sector.
Riverine Plains Inc. is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
Riverine Plains Inc. holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 through:

the Riverine Plains Research Institute Fund as an approved Research Institute under Subdivision 30-B, Section 30-40 - Research; and
-
the Riverine Plains Scholarship Fund under Subdivision 30-B, Section 30-25 – Education - Scholarships.
This allows eligible donations made to these endorsed funds to be tax deductible.
