WE’RE A TRUSTED PARTNER IN FARMING EXCELLENCE FOR THE RIVERINE PLAINS

Riverine Plains delivers research, extension, and business programs that support farmers and communities to build their knowledge and skills and grow their prosperity. Our members have access to a wide range of events and resources, which supports them to address their production and profitability challenges and find opportunities within their farming systems.

Our members also have access to the latest farming system insights, as well as subsided training and events to help build knowledge and skills. They can also benefit from being involved in our research projects, for example by receiving free soil testing and interpretation of trial results from projects hosted on their properties.

As a farmer-driven and community-focused organisation, we recognise that starting out on a career pathway in agriculture can be helped by strong networks and an understanding of the current issues in your chosen industry. So, we offer free membership to students enrolled in an agriculture-related field or tertiary study.

Peter White

“At its core Riverine Plains is an independent organisation driven by growers to provide timely, evidence-based information that can be implemented to improve our farms efficient use of resources and profitability. It’s a network of like-minded farming operators who share their experiences for the benefit of their peers to ensure ongoing sustainability, growth and success of our agricultural industry.”
