HARVESTER SET-UP WORKSHOP

Join us for a morning of chatting all things harvest set-up. Rod Gribble is a harvest contractor with years of experience setting up headers in a range of different crops and conditions. There will be a few different brands of machines there on the day to look at.

What we’ll cover

  • How to achieve the greatest productivity out of your machine. How to set-up for different weather and crop conditions.
  • Collecting, storing and extracting data from machines. (Yield, protein maps etc).
  • Discussions around automatic systems
  •  Tools and tips to measure your harvest losses.
  • How to minimise losses and what is an 'acceptable' level in each crop type?
