STOCK CONTAINMENT AREA DEMONSTRATION
Riverine Plains is hosting a Stock Containment Area (SCA) Field day at Lockhart on Wednesday 25 October, 2023. Come along to understand the fundamentals, see an example, and discuss the benefits and practicalities of stock containment areas.
What we'll cover
- Tanisha Shields (Agrista) will present on the practicalities of stock containment areas including design, infrastructure, feed and water, as well as animal management, health and welfare, before focusing on the economics of utilising SCAs.
- Andrew Bouffler will talk through his containment area, providing a demonstration on how one can be established and utilised.
