BURAJA IS BACK!
Riverine Plains is excited to host Sykesy’s Buraja Meeting on Wednesday 1 February, 2023.
What we’ll cover
After a few years of COVID disruptions and a difficult and wet season, this long-standing community event is an opportunity for grain and mixed farmers to discuss the 2022 season and the key issues for 2023.
The meeting will begin with the traditional 2022 harvest debrief and 2023 planning session with Chris Minehan (Rural Management Strategies).
Peter Matthews (NSW Department of Primary Industries) will discuss varieties, while Ben McClusky (Market Check) will provide an update on the global commodity market and the likely outcomes for 2023. Rob Inglis (Elders) will also provide a summary of the most important animal health and management issues heading into autumn.
There will also be an open discussion featuring several local farmers and agronomists.
Free entry, BBQ lunch is provided.
