RIVERINE PLAINS SCHOLARSHIP

Riverine Plains is supporting agriculture students in their studies and to live and work in the Riverine Plains.

THE RIVERINE PLAINS SCHOLARSHIP

We're excited to announce that we're sponsoring a student through the AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship Program, offering an incredible opportunity for university students passionate about agriculture.

This program not only provides financial support, but also equips young leaders with the tools, networks, and experiences they need to thrive in the agricultural industry.

Key benefits of the Horizon Scholarship

Financial support: $10,000 bursary over two years.
Professional development: Tailored workshops, placements, and learning experiences.
Networking opportunities: Connect with industry leaders, peers, and mentors across Australia.
Career insights: Exposure to emerging agricultural trends, technologies, and industries.

For students like James White, a previous Riverine Plains Scholarship Program recipient (John Hanrahan Scholar, 2022), the Horizon Scholarship was transformative. James gained practical experience, developed strong professional networks, and secured exciting career opportunities through placements and industry engagement.

“The highlights were definitely the people I met and the places I travelled,” James shared.

“It inspired me to think ahead, volunteer, and take opportunities to learn, which opened doors for my career.”
