The Uncle Tobys Scholarship, recognises and encourages agricultural excellence in the Riverine Plains region by supporting a local second year student in their studies.
In 2021, Riverine Plains partnered with Uncle Tobys to deliver the inaugural Uncle Tobys Scholarship to support future leaders in agriculture. Nestlé, parent company of Uncle Tobys recognises how crucial the support of future leaders in agriculture is to the success of the food industry both locally and as a whole.
The annual Scholarship aims to support a local second year student through their agriculture or agribusiness studies and is administered through the Riverine Plains Scholarship Fund.
The 2022 Scholarship will provide:
The scholarships are available for first year students beginning their second year of a diploma or degree course in Agriculture, Agricultural Science or Agribusiness during 2023. The bursary will be paid in annual instalments over two years (2023, 2024).
Students aged between 18 and 30 from the Riverine Plains region will be eligible to apply. Please refer to the scholarship terms, conditions, and eligibility
