NITROGEN STRATEGIES FOR RIVERINE PLAINS MEMBERS

A Riverine Plains member only event.

What we'll cover

Join Tim Neale (DataFarming) and Ed Scott (Field Systems) as they step through the actual decision process growers are facing: how much nitrogen is realistically available, how to reset budgets across the farm, which paddocks to prioritise, and how to use variable rate technology (VRT) to get the most value from every kilogram applied. The session will include a worked example to bring the numbers to life, along with a clear pathway for growers who are not currently set up for variable rate.

Riverine Plains will demonstrate how to use the regional weather station network and soil moisture probe data (supported by the Victorian Drought Hub) to assess plant available water, track in-season conditions, and ground nitrogen decisions in realistic yield expectations.

With a strong focus on practical execution, this webinar is designed to help growers turn tools and data into confident, workable decisions in the paddock.
