EVAN MOLL GEROGERY FIELD DAY

Join us for a hands-on field day focused on the latest in wheat and canola variety trials, frost assessment, and livestock management. Hosted at the Moll Family Farm in Gerogery, this event brings together industry experts from the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Murray LLS to share insights on sustainable farming practices and effective livestock water management.

What we'll cover

  • Wheat & Canola Variety Trials: Gain insights into the latest research and trial results with
    presentations from Peter Matthews and Kathi Hertel.
  • Frost Impact Assessment: Understand how frost affects crops with guidance from an experienced agronomist.
  • Livestock Feed & Water Budgeting: Learn from Martin Preuss and Paul Simpson about feed budgeting, dry matter assessment, and stock water management.
  • Sustainable Farms: Clare Crane from ANU will share strategies to improve farm ecosystems and water quality for livestock.
    The day will conclude with a BBQ lunch provided by RAGT, offering participants a chance to network and discuss key takeaways.
