IN SEASON UPDATE
With spring crop decisions fast approaching, now is the time to get the latest local insights, research findings and practical advice to support your season.
Join Riverine Plains at our annual In-season Update in Mulwala on Wednesday 5 August for a half-day event bringing together farmers, researchers, agronomists and industry experts to discuss the key issues shaping the season ahead.
What we'll cover
- Managing disease risk in canola this year - monitoring crops for blackleg, sclerotinia & aphid pressure with Dr Steve Marcroft (Marcroft Grains Pathology), leading expert in Canola pathology.
- Making crop management decisions through uncertain conditions, including frost risk and hay versus grain options with Ed Nixon (Optimus Ag).
- Exploring how emerging technologies are performing under local conditions through a tour of the SCOUT for the Riverine Plains Trial Block with Riverine Plains Senior Research Agronomist Alex Grant.
You’ll also have the opportunity to hear what others are seeing across the region, ask questions of local experts and connect with other farmers ahead of the critical spring decision-making period.
