MIXED FARMING SYSTEMS FIELD DAY

Join us for a practical day focused on making mixed farming systems more resilient and profitable. Hear the latest local trial results on vetch production and livestock performance, learn what long-term farming systems research from Dookie reveals about resilience in dry seasons, and explore how body condition scoring, liveweight monitoring and feed budgeting can improve stock containment decisions. The day will also feature a live OptiWeigh demonstration and insights into protecting grain quality through effective grain storage.

Packed with research, demonstrations and practical take-home strategies, this event is designed to help mixed farmers make confident decisions for both livestock and cropping enterprises.
