Optical Spray Technology Field Day
Riverine Plains and WeedSmart are hosting a joint field day exploring Optical Spot Spraying Technology and what it could mean for the future of summer fallow weed control. This session is designed to help growers and advisers get practical on how these systems work, where they fit (and don’t), what to watch for in set-up and operation, and how to think about return on investment.
You’ll hear WeedSmart’s perspective on how this technology aligns with best practice spray application including the Big 6 principles that underpin spray efficacy and performance. A panel discussion will then unpack real-world experiences: what’s worked, what’s been challenging, how people are approaching calibration and logistics, and what questions to ask before choosing a platform.
We will have multiple suppliers on site to showcase equipment and talk through key differences between systems.
