GRAIN AUTOMATE WORKSHOP

Data to dollars - setting up your header for profit. This workshop is designed to give growers practical tips and increase knowledge to successfully implement variable rate/ precision application on farm. 

Please bring your own laptop/ipad with boundaries either in my JD, CNH Field ops etc or as a kmz file (ie exported from Ag world).

What we'll cover

  • Farmer experience of using data to make decisions
  • Digital success not data mess - Map your process to automation and expanding the power of precisions application. Setting up boundaries, understanding zoning and preparing your farm for automation. 
  • Verge Ag practical exercise - Demonstrating the value of well-organised data, seamless data transfer and economic management decisions. Verge Ag is a platform that connect to CNH, John Deere Ops & Trimble to optimise machinery movements for more efficient operations & labour use. It can also be used to assess & validate machinery upgrades.
  • VRT zoning, data layers, case studies and using data to improve profit.
  • Creating prescription maps with mapping and zoning tools specific to your system.
