Waterlogging: How to move water off your farm. Thinking & Action Field Day
2pm – 4pm
Liliput
Location

This project is an investment of the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) and is in partnership with Agronomeye as part of the Adoption of Digital Twin Tools for Better Water and Soil Management in Grain Systems project.
WATERLOGGING: HOW TO MOVE WATER OFF YOUR FARM
This practical afternoon is an opportunity for farmers to explore options for managing waterlogging and moving excess water off their farm, with a focus on real-world technology, farm-scale planning and practical decision-making.
What we'll cover
Join us at Lilliput Ag to see the Soil Max Stealth ZD tile drainage machine in action and hear how subsurface drainage could help address waterlogging issues on farm.
We'll also hear from Agronomeye about AgTwin, a 3D digital twin that shows how water moves across your farm, where it sits and where it may be affecting production. See how this technology can provide a new perspective when planning drainage solutions.
Between the technology demonstrations and discussion, we'll explore the thinking behind on-farm drainage, including where it may stack up, what needs to be considered before getting started and how to plan a drainage system that works for your farming operation.
Free to attend, afternoon tea provided.
