SOILS AND FARMING SYSTEMS FIELD DAY

What we'll cover

The day will feature Dr Uwe Grewer from the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), who will present the latest Soil CRC decision support tools. These tools have been developed to help growers and advisers make more informed decisions about managing soil constraints and selecting the most appropriate soil amelioration strategies, particularly in paddocks where multiple soil constraints occur.

Plus

  • Results from the 2025 plot trials, including how the different treatments affected crop growth, nitrogen, yield and quality.
  • Nodulation in vetch, comparing vetch grown on its own and with wheat in companion cropping.
  • A visit to the paddock scale demonstration trial at Uncle Tobys.

Free to attend! Morning tea & lunch provided.
