Riverine Plains Recognised Among 10 Amazing Regional Not-for-Profit Organisations

We’re excited to share that Riverine Plains has been named one of 10 Amazing Regional Not-for-Profit Organisations by CLIRA – Celebrating Life in Regional Australia!

This recognition celebrates the dedication, collaboration, and passion our team brings to supporting farmers and communities across the Riverine Plains. It’s a wonderful reminder of the impact that peer-to-peer learning, knowledge-sharing, and community connections have on strengthening farming in our region.

As part of the initiative, our Chair of the Board, Fiona Marshall, spoke with host Neil Butler on the 10 Amazing Podcast. Fiona shares the story of Riverine Plains, the role of farmer-led learning, and what drives our team to keep innovating and supporting local farmers.

“It’s about farmers supporting farmers and creating opportunities to learn from one another so we can all thrive together,” Fiona explains. The episode offers a real insight into our work, values, and the projects shaping our community.

Don’t forget to follow or subscribe to catch new episodes as they’re released!

We’re proud to be part of this initiative, celebrating the incredible work of not-for-profits across regional Australia, and grateful for the ongoing support of our local farming communities.
