Sykesy’s Buraja Meeting – Interviews available via NSW Country Hour

Sykesy’s Buraja Meeting 2021 saw local farmers and advisors come along to debrief the 2020 season. The event also hosted the NSW Country Hour.

Sykesy’s Buraja Meeting was held on Thursday 4 February, 2021, with a great turnout of growers and advisors coming along to review the 2020 season and plan ahead for 2021.

Speakers included; Chris Minehan (RMS), Nick Poole (FAR Australia), Mark Richards (NSW DPI), Rohan Brill (Brill Ag), Cassandra Schefe (AgriSci), Jane McInnes (Riverine Plains), Ed Nixon (IK Caldwell) and Beau Longmire (farmer). An agronomic panel session also featured Rosie Dye (I Caldwell), Mark Harris (RMS) and Rob Harrod (Elders).

Special thanks to Michael Condon and Lauren Pezet from ABC Rural who came down to present the NSW Country Hour from Buraja! If you missed the day and would like to hear the interviews recorded on the day, please visit: https://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/nsw-country-hour/nsw-country-hour/13101374

Huge thanks also to our Gold Sponsors Uncle Tobys for providing morning tea and Elders for providing us with their BBQ trailer for lunch.
