Canola systems are being examined as part of a GRDC and Riverine Plains Inc field day to be held on Thursday 26 June, 2018.
The field day will begin at a canola systems trial site at Daysdale, which was established by Farmanco in partnership with Riverine Plains Inc and designed to evaluate the profitability of different canola systems using hybrid, triazine tolerant, imi tolerant, high oleic and Roundup Ready® technologies.
The second part of the day involves visits to the GRDC Optimising canola nutrition in the southern region of NSW trials at Coreen and Howlong.
Field Day Schedule
Site 1: Oaklands – 10:00am
Visit to Riverine Plains Canola Systems trial evaluating the profitability of hybrid, triazine tolerant, imi tolerant, high oleic and Roundup Ready® varieties.

Directions: From Oaklands, take Corowa Rd (Saffron-Oaklands Rd) east. Turn left onto Federation Way (Urana-Corowa Rd). After 2kms, turn right onto Bynedale Rd (Saffron-Rand Rd). After 2kms turn left onto Saffron Rd and travel for 1km, ‘Bingarra’ will be on the left.
Site 2: Coreen – 12 noon
Visit to Riverine Plains Inc and GRDC Canola sulphur and nitrogen nutrition trial. Includes lunch and discussion of 2017 results.

This event is free and all are welcome. Signage will be provided on the day and lunch is included.
