Riverine Plains will host a Field Day on Tuesday 20 July from 9am-12 noon at John Bruce’s, Barooga (572 Wiltons Rd, Barooga). The event will combine meetings of the GRDC Riverine Plains Irrigation Discussion Group and the Cool Soils Initiative.

Please note: The Riverine Plains Field Walk program has been altered as of 19/7/21, and will now be held in its entirety at John Bruce’s farm, Barooga. The event was previously scheduled to also include a visit to James Nixon’s farm at Oaklands, however it is too wet to access the site. James Nixon will now come along to Barooga to talk about the pros and cons of double cropping.

You will be required to do a COVID check in at the day and please adhere to social distancing protocols and bring your gumboots and umbrella.
