We are hosting a Drought Preparation workshop at Milawa on Tuesday 3 May from 3pm at the Millawa Hall. Now is a good time to start preparing for future droughts and climate challenges, share knowledge and create networks for Drought Resilience, Stronger communities. In this 1hr workshop we will:
- Look at what worked and what didn’t? Share and hear strategies to help manage future droughts and climate change.
- Find out what support is available to help with the implementation of these strategies.
- Better prepare mentally, financially and socially for future drought and climatic challenges making farming less stressful, recovery faster, and losses minimised.
The best time to prepare for a drought is when paddocks and cash flow are green – that time is NOW!
