The Riverine Plains Inc North East Victoria & Southern NSW Pulse Check discussion group is part of the GRDC Southern Pulse Extension Project and has a focus on practical aspects of pulse production, management and marketing in this region.
A pre-sowing Pulse Check Discussion Group Meeting will be held on Wednesday 7 March, 2018 at the Gladstone Hotel (Dookie Pub), 44 Mary St Dookie, 3646, from 1pm – approx. 3pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Current and prospective lentil and chickpea growers and advisors are welcome, with new growers especially invited to attend,
Our guest speaker will be experienced pulse agronomist and Pulse Australia Southern Region Industry Development Manager, Phil Bowden, who will be involved in discussions on;

- Sowing time, rates & depth (Growers are invited to bring in their cleaned seed and we can calculate seeding rates based on seed size)
